Goliath: +4 Str, -2 Dex. Powerful Build lets you count as Large for grapple, bull rush, and weapon size. The Str bonus is massive for melee and the Powerful Build feature opens up some wild weapon combos. LA +1 hurts, but if your build is all about hitting hard in melee, this is one of the strongest options
